If you’re female and looking to get fit or find a great mode of environmentally friendly transport but you don’t like those masculine looking bikes, with high bars that you have to somehow kick your leg over, you should consider a bike aimed specifically at women. Ladies road bikes are a great way to get fit and have fun during the spring and summer months.
There’s nothing better than leaving your troubles behind, hopping on your bike and heading out on a nice long ride. Regardless of whether you prefer ladies road bikes for a more competitive challenge, whether you are trying to do your bit for the environment, or whether you simply want a way to exercise at your leisure, there is a bike out there to suit your needs and match the pennies in your pocket.
For an extremely versatile bike that offers the pace and performance for the raciest of females amongst us, to the novice females out there wanting to ease into the sport on a more comfortable and supportive bike, the Specialized Dolce 2009 Women’s Road Bike is an ideal bike that meets all needs. Shimano adjustable reach 20-speed STI levers and Dura-Ace derailleurs keep weight to a minimum and make for a sacrifice-free level of performance. Other component highlights include a women’s-specific carbon fibre handlebar and Felt’s top carbon fibre seat post.
The Cinelli Ladies Little Wing (Sora/Miche) 2009 is a frame designed for women with sizes ranging from XXS to Medium. Hi,
Amanda here, nice blog with quality info, I would take this opportunity & ask for your expert opinion, I’m a bike cycling enthusiast & practically live on the road doing bike cycling. I guess the seats should be little wider for the comfort of a long ride or is it not a feasible thing to do, as aerodynamic concerns play a big role in designing these seats.
Love
Amanda
